GBF is closely following all the developments regarding the current socio-political crisis in Haiti. Fortunately the mission location is in a remote area not directly impacted by the political turmoil roiling the capital and other major cities. In addition, Thiotte is a border town that is easily accessible from the Dominican Republic. Thus at this time we are planning to travel through the Haitian-Dominican border to access and go forward with the mission. Once your application is accepted we will provide you with the final schedule and logistical details to enable you to finalize your travel plans. Looking forward to you joining us on our 3rd mission!

They did it !

Initially the expectation of lots of patients was very overwhelming but in fact we were able to start at a pace that was manageable.

Most rewarding was actually being able to affect change quickly for the better.

Yes, I felt supported both by the leaders of the group and by the other practitioners and assistants that were part of our group. Everybody was very approachable and helpful.

Sue Harvey Ireland

It was a unforgettable experience thanks to the caring, efficient organisation of Lapy and her mother.
